Following a strong desire to help our community and
a firm belief that the language should not be a barrier to develop
a talent in software engineering, we built a free online platform
where teachers can design coding challenges and programming
contests for students to solve with content in Spanish.
omegaUp became the official platform of the Mexican Olympiad in Informatics. Our platform is used through all the different stages of the Olympiad until 4 students are chosen to represent México at the International Olympiad in Informatics.
We are proud to support this great competition and we are happy to contribute to the dramatic improvement in performance of México at the International Olympiad in Informatics. In just a short period of time México has doubled its bronze medals, tripled the number of silver medals, and got its very first gold medal in 2014.
omegaUp is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission of building the talent pipeline of Software Engineering in Latin America.
